PATRICK MULLINS
(Director)

He is in his fourth season at VSC and leads its Education and Outreach programs. VSC credits include //romeo&juliet/,
Poetry Of Pizza,
1001 Arabian Nights: The Story of Aladdin and A Christmas Carol. Mr. Mullins hails from Atlanta,
Georgia, where his first career was spent in secondary education. In addition to directing, his acting work includes
Danny in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, John Hale in The Crucible, and the title role in Hamlet. Mr. Mullins holds an
MFA from the University of South Carolina and is proud to be a resident artist of VSC.

JENI SCHAEFER
(Costume Design)

holds a MAC in Costume Design from Wichita State University and has been VSC’s Resident Costume Designer and
Shop Manager for Ten years. Regional credits include: Radio Golf; Diary of Anne Frank; Around the World in 80 Days;
Billy Bishop Goes to War; Alive and Well; A Raisin in the Sun; The New Pink; Moon for the Misbegotten; Wit; Crowns;
Driving Miss Daisy; Of Mice and Men; To Kill A Mocking Bird; The Elephant man; Hank Williams: Lost Highway; Doubt

BRADLEY KING
(Lighting Design)

Previously with VSC: SCKBSTD (Associate Lighting Designer). Bradley is a lighting designer based in New York City
whose designs have been seen across the US and United Kingdom. Recent works include The Marriage of Figaro
(Kentucky Opera), Children (TACT-NYC), Assassins and Sweet Charity (New Studio on Broadway), To Kill a Mockingbird
(Penobscot Theater), Dead Fish (HERE Arts Center), Macbeth and Richard II (York Shakespeare Company), Playing in Traffic
(Women’s Project), Tongue of a Bird and StrindbergStrindberg (NYU Grad Acting), and over 100 works with Second Avenue
Dance Company (NYC). Associate designs on and off Broadway for Jane Cox, Mark McCullough, and Robert Wierzel.

BART KUEBLER
(Music Director)

was most recently at VSC as music director of An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rogers and Hammerstein and
The Last 5 Years. Currently touring with Windborne Music’s The Music of Queen, The Music of The Who and
The Music of Michael Jackson
. Also performed as a musician on national tours of Wicked, Legally Blonde: the Musical,
and The Color Purple; regional productions of Annie, West Side Story and Aida. thanks and love to Elna, Michael and Katie!

MATTHEW MARHOLIN
(Production Stage Manager)
He is happy to be back at VSC for his third season. Prior to coming to Norfolk, his work includes The Unauthorized Autobiography
of Samantha Brown, a new work produced by Broadway Across America. Prior to that, Matt worked as Artistic Director for Cirque
du Soleil’s production of Alegria in South America. His Production Stage Management credits include Broadway and National Tours
for such shows as Blood Brothers starring Petula Clark and David Cassidy; South Pacific starring Robert Goulet; Jekyll & Hyde;
Smokey Joe’s Café; Camelot starring Robert Goulet; A Few Good MenGrease; Parade; The Wiz starring Stephanie Mills and the
World Premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s Camille Claudel starring Linda Eder. International tours include Porgy and Bess, Carmen Jones,
tick, tick…BOOM! and Sophisticated Ladies. To date, Matt’s work has taken him to 22 countries. Thanks and love to JCM3.
TERRY SUMMERS FLINT
(Scenic Designer)
is happy to be back with VSC for her sixth season where she serves as Production Manager and occasional Scenic Designer. Previous designs for VSC include The Last Five Years, Raisin in the Sun, Billy Bishop Goes To War, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, The Jungle Book, and Hansel and Gretel’s Grimm Tale. She earned her BA at University of North Carolina, Asheville and her MFA, Scenic Design at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Favorite past designs have included Vinegar Tom, Arcadia, and StopKiss. She gives her sincere thanks to the audience for continuing to support local theatres!
