THE JULIUS CEASAR EXPERIENCE
Appropriate for middle school and high school students:
Part performance, part workshop with multi-media embellishment, this interactive experience takes students inside of Shakespeare's texts and reveals immediate connections from our modern perios to Shakespeare and the ancient Romans. Iambic pentameter, democracy, and Elizabethan drama are all explored in this action packed presentation.
Workshop: 1 Hour
Cost: first session is $150, each additional session on the same day is $75.

DESIGN YOUR OWN WORKSHOP
For decades Virginia Stage Company has provided arts and Shakespeare workshops on both elemtary and secondary levels. VSC continues to offer custom-designed workshops to meet the specific needs of Virginia schools, teachers and students. Topics include but are not limited to:
ACTING, TEAMBUILDING, PLAYWRITING, LOCAL HISTORY,TECHNICAL THEATER and PLAY DEVELOPEMENT.
Theater across the curriculum, and much, much, more! Inquire about topic availability, or explore bringing one of our teaching artists into your school for a short or long term residency.
Standard workshops begin at $150 for an hour and a half for grades K-12.

HANSEL & GRETEL'S GRIMM TALE POST-PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS
Appropriate for grades K through 5:
The cast of Hansel & Gretel will engage students with fun-filled activities designed to enhance their theatrical experience. Students go from being audience members to becoming actors, creating their own version of the colorful characters from the play.
Workshop: 45 minutes
Cost: $75 each
